As a litigation attorney representing doctors and injured people, I have learned that everyone needs assistance in maneuvering the No-Fault Act. At Schefman & Associates, PC I have been privileged to help the catastrophically injured and the medical providers that help them.
My experience has given me the tools to fight for insurance coverage and payments for my clients, and I am proud to help individuals clear insurance roadblocks and win the compensation they are entitled to. I take pride in using my experience, skills, and legal education to help those who need help; to prevent additional stress or burdens at a time of need, and to fight for my clients as strongly as I would for my own family. Whether pursuing a case in the courtroom or helping clients navigate strategies for success from the office, if I do my work, my clients can focus on their health and getting back on their feet.
In representing injured people and the professionals who have aided them, I have seen firsthand that the treatment they provide is essential to a patient’s recovery, economic and emotional. I admire both the professionals and the gutsy clients who must rebuild their lives, and I value the relationships I have forged with all of them.
I am privileged to work with a terrific team at Schefman & Associates, PC that shares my drive and focus for helping both individuals and doctors and clinics. My experience has included coverage in No-Fault, injury cases against an at-fault driver, medical malpractice, medical provider recovery work, Guardian ad Litem for minor children, and many other types of cases. I have been fortunate enough to have successful outcomes for my clients in trial, arbitration, facilitation, negotiations, and have been a part of a team that has received extraordinary verdicts, winning hundreds and hundreds of thousands of dollars for clients. I have practiced in multiple Southeast Michigan Circuit Courts, the U.S. District Court Eastern District of Michigan Southern Division, and the Michigan Court of Appeals.
I have been a lifelong Michigan resident and happily live in Oxford with my husband, three children, and our Bernese Mountain Dog. I take delight in a good cup of coffee, gardening, kayaking, and much to my husband’s chagrin, always have a home improvement DIY in the works.
