Allison L. Romer

Attorney

I entered the legal profession to protect people and help them through their legal problems, which can arise from injuries and often become life problems. I use the law to advance the public good, so my practice is primarily focused on injury litigation for those injured and the medical providers who serve them.

Working at Schefman & Associates, PC, has allowed me to help people navigate the difficult road of injury, rehabilitation, and insurance payment. When a person or a loved one is injured, I have seen firsthand how challenging and impossible it can be to navigate independently, work through the insurance payment system, and I provide the help and guidance clients need. Whether a person has a brain injury or other difficult physical injury and recovery from a car accident, often their life is changed forever, never to be the same. While we can’t turn back the clock on an accident, we can help those impacted, to rehabilitate, gain confidence to move forward and obtain the compensation they are entitled to. I aim to serve and make a difference in people’s lives .

My practice has also allowed me to represent some of the finest medical professionals in the State of Michigan. I feel great pride in dedicating so much time to serving these talented men and women. Part of our mission is to help doctors succeed professionally and financially, and this can also be enormously helpful to my injured clients who need help.

The law also allows me to build and maintain client and professional relationships, and I am very proud of my connections with those I serve and meet in the courtrooms.

Outside of practicing law, I have a passion for soccer and have played at the college level and been a youth soccer coach for 15 years. I love teaching the game, and it’s rewarding to participate in building the character of female youth athletes, to become strong and successful women. I live in Bloomfield Hills with my husband, daughters, and goldendoodle. Other passions of mine include my family, reading, all things “soccer,” and the continued success of the US Women’s National Soccer Team.
